The REACH regulation was introduced in June 2007 with the aim of improving the protection of the environment and human well-being against the risks of chemicals produced or imported within the EU by tight and timely registration of all relevant information.
Producers and / or their importers must register all their product-related information and properties. All individual information is centralized by a ‘Chemical Agency’ in a central database.
End-users are obliged to state their details with regard to their applications of the product so that producers can register their products for each specific application.
